Let’s Talk About Health

Today our “Let’s talk about health “ it is going to be a little different because I want to share some of my personal health goals for the upcoming
Holidays.

Moderation,
easy to say hard to put into practice and that is why I want to talk
about it because for me it is a difficult one; so one of the easiest ways to help us achieve a goal it is to write it down and that is why I encourage myself to do it with you.

Moderation when we eat, feast at work, home, family and friends; it is important to take into account if we suffer from a systemic disease that conditions us to avoid certain foods. I’m not saying that we cannot try it, I am stating that we must be careful, and not to pay the consequences later and be worse off for much longer. For example I have some life changing over the pass 4 years especially in the my way to eat; to have my blood pressure under control. So I have to be sure that I drink enough water every day, (10- 13 glasses of water), specially 1 hour before my meal I drink 1 glass of water, and I notice that when I don’t do it I over eat.

Be aware of what ever can help you to maintain your normal levels:

  • Glycemia
  • Cholesterol
  • Triglycerides
  • Blood pressure, etc.

Moderation if we drink, if you have 1 or 2 wine glasses it affect our body, yes! But not in the same way as spirits with higher alcohol concentration, what I’m trying to say is that is not the same 1 glass than 1 bottle of what ever spirits drinks. And remember if you are taken medication don’t drink.

Don’t forget to move your body, Exercise, Walking (even at home), Dance,
Yoga, Pilates, Tai-Chi, etc. It doesn’t matter what you do but just do it.

Let’s try to do are best to get better, do better and be better every day; take
care of your body and your self; God love us and the Lord give us so many
things that we have to be grateful with all the blessings that we receive.

A beautiful time of the year starting next week with THANKSGIVING and
CHRISTMAS, they are the most beautiful traditions.

“ If they offer it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank
offering thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in , thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with oil, mixed in. Along with their fellowship offering of thanksgiving they are to present an offering with thick loaves of bread made with yeast.”
Leviticus 7:12,13.

“ Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song”. Psalms 95: 2
