Let’s talk about FIBROMYALGIA, What is Fibromyalgia?


• Is one of the most common musculoskeletal conditions. This condition is
a common and complex chronic pain disorder that causes pain and
tenderness. Fibromyalgia can occur throughout the body or can migrate
to one point in the body. This condition affects approximately 10 million
Americans and occurs in men, women, and children. Although
symptoms vary from person to person.

• Is a condition characterized by pain, fatigue, sleep problems, mood
issues and difficulty concentrating. It sometimes occurs in people with
psychiatric issues, such as anxiety, depression or post traumatic stress
disorder.

There are many signs and symptoms that accompany fibromyalgia.

The symptoms of Fibromyalgia:

  • Pain is a principal symptom, and may be amplified or abnormal from how people normally process pain due to a change in how the brain perceives pain. Pain from fibromyalgia comes from tender points on the body around the neck, shoulders, back, elbows, chest, hips, knees and skin. Many people with this conditions experience also others symptoms
    including:
  • Fatigue. ( “Fibro fog”)
  • Hypersensitivity to cold and heat.
  • Dryness of mouth, nose and eyes.
  • Incontinence.
  • Irritable bowel syndrome.
  • Numbness or tingling in the fingers and feet.
  • Stiffness.
  • Sleep problems. (Because sleep is interrupt by pain
  • Cognitive difficulties.
  • Depression.
  • Chronic headaches.
  • Cramping.
  • Temporomandibular joint disorders.
  • Interstitial cystitis or painful bladder syndrome.
  • Endometriosis.

    These symptoms can vary person to person. Many Doctors group
    fibromyalgia with osteoarthritis, bursitis, and tendinitis because of its
    similar symptoms. However, the pain associated with bursitis and
    tendinitis is more localized while fibromyalgia is more widespread
    throughout the body.

    CAUSES

    Although the exact cause of fibromyalgia is unknown, certain factors may contribute to the chronic disorder, including:
  • Genetics
  • Repetitive injury
  • Trauma
  • Illness ; or
    Disease

MAY SERVE ME; IF YOU MAY SERVE ME IF YOU UTTER WORTHY, NOT
WORTHLESS, WORDS YOU WILL BE MY SPOKESMAN. LET THIS PEOPLE
TURN TO YOU, BUT YOU MUST NOT TURN TO THEM.
