Women’s Bible Study

In today’s society there is a great amount of pressure placed on women to fulfill many tasks including career, spouse and mother. This juggling act can take its toll on your spiritual walk with Christ. The race can wear you down and leave you feeling empty.

However here at CLC every-other Tuesday evening at 7pm we offer a specialized time of re-fueling and refreshing to handle the tasks and pressures of life in a Biblical way.

Our women’s Bible study is a great time of fellowship and instruction in the Word of God. Our leader Carol Kaiser approaches the Biblical “Digs” of this time with practical insights of the Word that will help you not only handle or endure life, it will equip you to live life the way God intended you too, with joy and peace! This time together will strengthen you, teach you and leave you full of the power and presence of God. Don’t miss out!!

Who have you blessed today?

I personally have a deep appreciation of music, especially worship music. I have found that when my heart is in the proper place where God’s commands and priorities are my commands and priorities, that I hear worship music playing non-stop in my heart and head. This means that I go to sleep with /worship music and that any time that I awaken, it’s to that music. Whether I’m awake or asleep, the music of worship resounds throughout my being. However, when my heart is NOT aligned with Jesus and His written word, this music ceases and I am left with either silence or the onslaught of this world’s confusion. Needless to say, the contrast is striking.

With that said, it brings me back to this question. Who have you blessed today? We sing the words “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name.” Do you begin your day by blessing Jesus with praise and thanksgiving? Do you ask God to help you bless someone that day? Do you keep your heart centered on Jesus? Our Pastor Tim likes to remind us that we are blessed to be a blessing.

Acts 20:35 says “…remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” So once again, I ask “Who have you blessed today?”
